Rocky Mountain Driveline was established in 1998 focusing on light duty driveshafts such as Ford, Dodge, Jeep, Honda and many more makes. Since 2012 Rocky Mountain Driveline has added heavy duty driveshafts to our portfolio. Adding Peterbilt, Kenworth, International and Volvo to the type of driveshafts we can remanufacture. With our equipment and well-trained employees, we can rebuild heavy duty driveshafts faster than the competition, getting truck drivers back on the road.
We are looking for a heavy-duty outside salesperson to join the Rocky Mountain Driveline team. This person will be responsible for closing accounts in the oil and gas industry, transportation, semi repair and construction industries. Building relationships with companies such as MHC Kenworth, Waste Management, Alpine Waste, Peterbilt, Waste Connections, American Furniture Warehouse, RMS Cranes, Regional Transportation District and Kiewit Infrastructure to name a few.
The heavy-duty salesperson will solicit our service business from accounts through personal and phone contacts. The representative will develop new accounts, recover list accounts, and manage current accounts.
Your responsibilities
- Successfully learn and sell rebuilt and new driveshafts, parts and service
- Competence in systematic selling, which includes pre-calling planning, investigating sales opportunities, offering Rocky Mountain Driveline specific solutions and closing business sales
- Promote and sell “All Makes” driveshafts and service
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies for all products offered
- Log visits, phone calls and notes through our software NetSuite
- Prepare weekly and monthly meetings with our sales manager
- Research leads and prospects
- Plan outside sales through route planning
- Partner with sales manager to close difficult accounts
Qualifications
- Prefer Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university or college
- Negotiating and closing experiences
- Business-to-Business (B2B) : 2 year experience (optional)
- Outside sales : 5 years experience
- Telemarketing Sales : 2 years experience
- NetSuite : 1 year experience (optional)
- Heavy Duty Knowledge: 1 year experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Territory Management

Salary:
- Base Salary $40K (Gross after commission $55,500k - $85,500k)
- Incentive bonus every time you reach and overcome your goal
- 8% Monthly Commission
